The Regina Early Learning Centre has always depended on the donations and support of many individuals and groups within our community. During lean years, donations are critical to keeping the doors open. At other times, donations allow the Centre to make investments critical to our ongoing success.
Research clearly demonstrates that in order to have significant impacts on the lives of children, early childhood programs need to be high-quality programs. Donations are often used to invest in professional development, continue to maintain low child-to-staff ratios, and develop and maintain the organizational infrastructure required to keep the Centre running. In addition, donations are used for special projects: the purchase of new equipment, the redevelopment of office or meeting space, or improvements to our outdoor play area.
The Centre also accepts a variety of in-kind donations. We are always interested in donations of Silent Auction items for the BRIGHTER FUTURES FOR CHILDREN Fundraiser. While we have limited storage space, we can often find new homes for good quality children’s clothing and toys and a variety of household items. Please Call the Centre at (306) 757-3744 if you are considering an in-kind donation.
